Founders often tell me their product is difficult to explain because it is powerful.

Sometimes that is true. Most times, the product has not decided what the user needs to understand first.

So the demo starts with context. Then features. Then another feature that makes the first feature useful. By the time the value arrives, the user is already working too hard.

Complex products do not need to become small. They need a clear entry point.

Who is this for? What problem do they recognise immediately? What is the first useful action? What changes after they take it?

If those answers are sharp, a complex product can still feel simple.

If those answers are fuzzy, even a small product feels heavy.

Your product does not have to explain everything at once.

It has to make the next thing obvious.
